Untitled[edit]

William Stuard is the CEO of one of Tennessee's largest and fastest growing banks and he is the Chairman of one of the United State's oldest and most powerful Political Action Committees. He is a government official and a business leader that has been noted nationally for his innovative business tactics. The language of this article could perhaps be better, and I intend to improve on it drastically in the coming days, but from a business and/or political standpoint, this is most certainly a legitimate article about one of Tennessee's most prominent individuals. There are a vast number of entries of artists, professors, etc that have been left up with much less significance asserted within the article.

Thank you for your consideration. If there are suggestions for edits or improvements or further references, I will amend promptly. Thank you!

Removed PROD[edit]

I removed the PROD notice - despite the alleged COI, the references do appear to establish some notability. Afd would be a better option to gain consensus. – ukexpat (talk) 22:01, 14 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

COI[edit]

Thanks for the delete; I agree there is notability here. What is afd if you don't mind me asking? With the COI, I am going to work on the rhetoric and getting multiple perspectives to clean this up. Thanks again.

Afd is a WP process for deletion of articles - if an editor believes that an article does not meet WP's criteria for a valid article, they can nominate it for deletion per the Afd process. Also, please sign your comments on talk pages by adding 4 tildes (~) at the end. Oh and please use edit summaries when you make edits to articles. Thanks. – ukexpat (talk) 01:21, 15 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
