Natural or man-made[edit]

According to me, it should be a natural force, not man-made. Hence, this example will not hold good. "Its nature and power absolutely uncontrollable, for example, the inroads of a hostile army or forcible robberies, may relieve from liability from contract." contrast 'vis major' vs. 'force majeure' vs. 'act of god'[edit]

It seems these three terms are at least partially overlapping in meaning. And in practice, as here at Investopedia they are represented as being the same. Clear contrasting between the terms is needed, can anyone who is knowledgeable about this area help please? --Doncram (talk) 11:47, 26 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
