Copy[edit]

This article is a cut-and-paste of the Slovenian American article. Isn't there anything original to be written on Australians of Slovene descent? Squamate (talk) 01:47, 16 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Move to 'Slovene Australian'[edit]

I actually prefer the plural form, but this way it is consistent with other 'x Australian' articles. Saimdusan Talk|Contribs 00:50, 31 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Saimdusan. I've reverted your move of the article to the singular form, as Wikipedia:Naming conventions (plurals) says "Some nouns are always in the plural. These are fine as titles. Some examples: ... The name of a people may correspond to the plural word for members of that people, for example Ukrainians, or French people (in contrast, some peoples have singular names, like the Bantu)." Please use WP:RM in such cases. --Eleassar my talk 10:13, 31 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The thing is nearly all the articles in the style x Australian, x American, etc. It's more an issue of consistency than of anything else. saɪm duʃɑn Talk|Contribs 09:21, 18 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I doubt this is true and that this is the best form. Please use WP:RM. --Eleassar my talk 09:55, 19 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
