"less palatable in western countries"[edit]

why is there no photo of meat slurry? i'd very much like to know what it looks like after it's been removed from the bone and processed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.236.202.2 (talk) 07:09, 8 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Many people demonstrate their preference for dark turkey meat at Thanksgiving. My elementary school cafeteria always served dark meat "chicken" nuggets. Csdavis1 (talk) 03:18, 1 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

page name[edit]

How come the page is called "meat slurry"?? "Reconstituted meat" is much more common and what one finds on food labels. 99.11.160.111 (talk) 05:34, 23 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

What's the difference to "pink slime"?[edit]

Meat slurryReconstituted meat – "Meat slurry" is a subjective description, mostly used in a polemic way. "Reconstituted meat" is the correct, technical term, suited for an encyclopedia. "Pink slurry" should be mentioned in the article, but not as article name. Google search for "reconstituted meat" shows slightly more hits than "meat slurry" (41.100 v 36.200), so it shouldn't be an issue. Kraligor (talk) 16:22, 2 September 2017 (UTC)--Relisting. • Support. Even if it would be a more common name, slurry clearly sounds like a degoratory term, as in "to slur".Gaioa (talk) 11:30, 13 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
    • Not really. It's being used in its agricultural definition - no.3 on Wiktionary. -- Necrothesp (talk) 15:27, 15 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
