Clean-up and references required[edit]

Please see the maintenance tags on the article page. Unsourced edits/deletions are subject to being challenged and/or revered. All edits must be verifiable. Unless a proper noun is involved, English is this wiki's primary language. --Morenooso (talk) 13:14, 8 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Why are my edits being reverted?[edit]

The original cast list had errors in it, so I corrected them with information from the telenovela's official website. The cast information that was on the page prior to my edits was based on a "primer promo" page that gave a sneak peek at the novela, but provided erroneous information. I can't understand why the person who reverts my edits finds it preferable to have incorrect information on the page rather than accurate information. Doesn't it make sense that the cast information on the official website is more accurate than the information on an unrelated website?

You need reliable third party information as what is published. Additionally, it seems that you were editting as an anonymous IP and removing maintenance tags. --Morenooso (talk) 01:59, 9 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Additionally, the previous section on this talkpage describes the Refimprove tag on the article which you are deleting as an anon IP (if that was you not logged in). Sneak peeks are not WP:RS material and require WP:V info. --Morenooso (talk) 02:02, 9 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
How is the novela's official website not a reliable source? I know that sneak peeks are not good sources. I'm not the person who put the footnote in that referred to the sneak peak. I tried to replace that bad sneak peek information with information from the official site. The bad information already existed on the page and I was trying to fix it. My edits were accurate. While it is a source, it is not a third party neutral site which is desired. Often, websites like Univision, Esmas and other broadcasting site URLs will post titulations that until the show actually airs and is described by legimate press is inaccurate. --Morenooso (talk) 17:20, 10 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
WP:V must be the guide. --Morenooso (talk) 17:24, 10 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
OK, I give up. I won't try to fix this page again. Sirlizard (talk) 17:36, 10 May 2010 (UTC)Sirlizard[reply]
