The initial stub by User:62.4.161.174, 4 years ago, was full of date errors, I've just corrected them, and created a Hervé Brouhon stub and a Michel Demaret article, plus a succession box. --Pylambert (talk) 12:58, 21 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Burgomaster[edit]

The title of the article is formally speaking incorrect. Brussels like all Belgian municipal governments is headed by a Burgomaster, not a Mayor. Usage (no doubt inspired by laziness and ignorance) favours mayor, however an encyclopaedic resource should respect the difference and use the term Burgomaster. Everybody got to be somewhere!
