Relevance of political leanings[edit]

Is the fact that the killer was a Sikh and pro-Khalistan relevant? ★Trekker (talk) 23:36, 31 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Page should be moved (and in-article occurrences updated accordingly) to 'Murder of Paul Schmidt'[edit]

Stabbing someone to death in broad daylight while shouting "fucking bitch" at them would seem to qualify unambiguously as murder to any reasonable third party observer, the charges are for murder, and killing/murder seem to be used inconsistently for similar things. Three good reasons to upgrade this from a 'killing'. I would courteously refrain from drawing comparisons to much more accidental appearing killings which have articles in the form of 'Murder of X' except in this general sense to note that some interchangeability or less strenuous standard to use the word 'murder' seems to already been established on Wikipedia.

What justification is there for referring to this as the more accidental-sounding 'killing'? Bartereroffarts (talk) 22:27, 17 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
