in popular culture[edit]

I think a section on the clock's appearances in movies, books, etc., is helpful, and just created one with two entries to start. In the movie A Rainy Day in New York, by the way, there is allusion to an old romantic movie where the characters met under the clock; was that just fiction or is there such a movie? I'm not immediately finding it among Top Ten Central Park Movies though. --Doncram (talk) 15:39, 20 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

P.S. I see the essay wp:In popular culture asserts that "'In popular culture' sections should contain verifiable information with sources that establish its significance to the article's subject." I did not immediately add such for the two entries, Madagascar (2005 film) and A Rainy Day in New York, however. Significance to Madagascar is suggested by fan sites like this. It is quite central to the plot in A Rainy Day in New York; movie reviews could easily establish that. --Doncram (talk) 15:44, 20 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
