Misleading quotation in lede[edit]

The "900 manufacturer's coupons per household" quote in the 2nd graf of the lede is from an AC Nielsen study done in 1980 (see source). Legalese of coupons[edit]

I did not see anything "solid" in that article (expect maybe the anecdote about the first Coca-Cola coupon; charming). It's all very vague. For instance, why don't you put in plain wording the explanation (I've seen it asked thousand of times on various chat sites, including by myself) about "Expiration date": is the last date mentioned INCLUDED or not as valid (spoiler: it IS, and that should be explained in the page)? The other less asked, but definitely less answered concrete fact about coupons on the web is: are their use defined in laws of some countries (and are there penalties for bad-behaving businesses)?...
