Include birthing classes in title of article[edit]

Our pregnancy article section groups birth plan and classes. I'd like this article to have the classes in the title as well as I'm find it hard to work on the article when it is only on the plan. I used to know how to change article titles but have long forgotten. Sectionworker (talk) 17:28, 26 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I'm open to it, but are we sure these are the same topic and it won't need to be split later for being distinct? FYI the "move" option appears to me under "More", just a bit to the right of the "Edit" and "View history" buttons. You can move it if you wish as far as I am concerned, or if you respond to me and still feel it is the same topic, I'll move it for you. Crossroads -talk- 23:59, 26 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
The articles I'm finding to add more to the article all discuss plans with classes. For example: [1] Please add it to the article title. Thanks. Sectionworker (talk) 20:11, 27 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
What do you think would be a good title? "Birth classes and birth plans"? Crossroads -talk- 04:23, 28 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Slight change...How about Birthing classes and birth plan? Sectionworker (talk) 05:02, 28 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Done, but both terms have to be plural then, so it's now "Birthing classes and birth plans". If you want to split it out in the future I'm open to that as well. Crossroads -talk- 18:52, 28 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks a lot. Sectionworker (talk) 19:43, 28 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Again, thanks for what you did here...and I thank myself for adding it to our article. I believe that it is one of the most important issues that the article includes. What with c-sections over 30% and in some areas induction reaching 50%, which can lead to a c-section, women should learn about their options if their OB is not telling them, besides being a good place to practice methods of pain relief, etc. And I was especially happy to see the woman's empowerment stuff you included. No problem, and thank you too. Crossroads -talk- 19:34, 30 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Nurse-family partnership section[edit]

I have readded this section with a further ref from the NYT. This nurse partnership is government funded and is not SPAM. I believe that it is important to note that some mothers need more than meeting at a designated location to plan their pregnancy/birth. This plan is set up for nurses to go into homes and teach low income and otherwise disadvantaged women how to successfully have their child and look after it to the age of two. I believe it fits in this article quite well. I look forward to hearing from the editor that deleted it. Sectionworker (talk) 14:04, 6 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
