He is notable under WP:NGOLF, as "6. ... competed as a professional on the PGA... for at least one full year."--184.153.21.19 (talk) 20:45, 20 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
What I said above. This was reflected in the article. Supported by an RS ref. No reason to not publish the article. Now it has multiple such refs. It also clearly meets GNG. --2604:2000:E010:1100:E420:A146:1992:B24D (talk) 01:19, 21 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
He's playing in the development tour for the PGA, not the PGA itself. Please show the WP:THREE refs that meet WP:GNG. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 01:37, 21 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
That's not what I'm reading.
But here you go; four in case you dislike any one; links are in the article itself, as well as links to many other similar RS articles devoted to Silverman - should not have been that difficult to see; I can't imagine that these were somehow not noticeable:
"Hard work pays off for Canada's Ben Silverman as he makes 'improbable' climb to PGA Tour; 30-year-old didn't play golf seriously until he was 16", CBC, November 21, 2017.
"Canada's Silverman earns PGA Tour status with final Web.com ranking". National Post. September 23, 2018.
"How Ben Silverman went from shooting a 118 to a spot on the PGA Tour: Feschuk", The Star, November 17, 2017
I'm pinging @Nigej: who discussed about notability for golfers in the second tiers. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 00:02, 22 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I would say clearly notable. Winning a Korn Ferry Tour event. 2nd tier maybe but actually one of the most important tours in the world. Nigej (talk) 06:36, 22 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
And also competed for two full seasons on the PGA Tour. Unfortunately none of this was clear from the way the article was originally written. 51.6.161.113 (talk) 13:00, 22 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for clarifying that detail. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 17:53, 22 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
