The 150th Separate Mechanized Brigade (Ukrainian: 150 окрема механізована бригада, romanized: 150 okrema mekhanizovana bryhada)[4] is a formation of the Ukrainian Ground Forces.[1] The brigade was announced alongside the 151st, 152nd, 153rd and the 154th Mechanized Brigades in October 2023. [1][2]
History[edit]
The 150th Mechanized Brigade was formed on 10 October 2023. Like the 151st, 152nd, 153rd and 154th mechanized brigades, the unit is expected to participate in combat actions in the following year, as well as the anticipated Ukrainian counteroffensive in 2024.[5] According to the Daily Kos, they may be equipped with American surplus armour in the future.[6]
