Players on the initial version of this list were taken from this site. Please add individual footnotes from news sources as redundant confirmation, when possible. -Colin Kimbrell 14:16, 7 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Since these citations could go away at any time, here's the info for the physical newspapers in which they were also published (for those that aren't web-only):

The list of replacement players who appeared in the major leagues apparently does not include those who had appeared in the majors before the strike, but did not appear after it. Two such players are Oil Can Boyd (Red Sox/Expos/replacement White Sox) and Willie Hernandez (Tigers, Phillies, etc./replacement Yankees). I know there are more, but I remember those two off the top of my head.

David Newhan of the Orioles was a replacement player. Edgar Caceres, now a minor-league manager, was the first one to show up in MLB, I believe, with the KC Royals.

If you could find a site with the complete replacement-player rosters, you could update and complete this list.
