I often hear the term "hospital ball" used to describe certain passes. What specifically does this mean?

It means a bad pass that will conceivably put the receiver in hospital. ie. They'll get tackled as soon as they receive it. 58.169.27.45 04:35, 1 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
