– There are two athletes named Jordan Hamilton. There is Jordan Hamilton (soccer) and Jordan Hamilton (basketball). Currently Jordan Hamilton links to the basketball player. I believe it should link to the disambiguation page. RedPatchBoy (talk) 20:56, 2 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Admin note @RedPatchBoy, GiantSnowman, and Ortizesp: I've bundled Jordan Hamilton to the move request, which was boldly moved to Jordan Hamilton (basketball) before the RM was opened;[1] I reverted it back to the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC, pending this discussion. It seems that its hatnote stopped using the disambiguation page since 2016.—Bagumba (talk) 03:03, 3 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment For convenience, here is the page view comparisons link. The basketball player has 59 views/day vs 31 for the soccer player; the soccer player includes a one-day spike of around 600 views. Redirects need to be included, as all previous incoming links to Justin Hamilton had already been boldly moved to Justin Hamilton (basketball).—Bagumba (talk) 03:34, 3 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
    • Comment Yes, I boldly moved the page and the links to the basketball disambiguation (some to the soccer player which incorrectly linked to the basketball player, which is how I came across this), after checking that pageviews of 59 vs 31 (some of the 59 views may be intended for the soccer player, but get there first). After I did it, I figured that the Rename request was the better option, however, I was unable to move the basketball link back to the PRIMARYNAME because it already existed. Thanks Bagumba for moving it back. RedPatchBoy (talk) 05:27, 3 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support per nomination, GiantSnowman and Ortizesp. The disambiguation page main header should be simply Jordan Hamilton. —Roman Spinner (talkcontribs) 03:37, 7 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
