Visiting Point Charbiyar Azad Kashmir

CharBiyar or Chaarbyaris located in the Tehsil Balooch of Sudhnoti District in Azad Kashmir, is a picturesque hilltop station situated at an approximate elevation of 7000 feet above sea level. It is approximately 20 km away from Balooch, Azad Kashmir, and can be reached within a 30-40 minute drive from Behtak Awanabad. This serene destination offers breathtaking views of lush green meadows, dense forests, and heavenly landscapes adorned with clouds. Additionally, from Chaar Biyar, one can enjoy panoramic views of the Ponch River, Toli Pheer, Abbaspur, and the Indian-occupied Ponch city.

Accessing Chaar Biyar is possible through multiple routes, such as the metallic road via Rahimabad and Dhana, as well as via Panwar Ghala Kanata. Although the road conditions may not be ideal, small vehicles can easily reach the destination except heavy transport. Along the way to Chaar Biyar, there are rest houses available in Behtak Awanabad and Balooch. On the way to Chaar Biyar via Ghala Kanat the old shrine of Sahin Kala, situated at Panwar, attracting visitors from far and wide who seek solace and offer prayers.

Chaar Biyar is best during the summer months, when the natural beauty of the region flourishes. However, the climate remains generally pleasant throughout March to October, despite colder temperatures. The captivating features of Chaar Biyar include its majestic mountaintop location, adorned with lush meadows, tall pine trees, and a serene ambiance that enchants the hearts of visitors.

This region possesses natural beauty that surpasses many other areas of Kashmir, but it requires attention and development.
