This is the state champion swamp chestnut oak of Kentucky. It is located on Fairdale Road at Fairdale, just south of Louisville, KY. It developed a dangerous split last year. This tree is around 120 feet tall, over 100 feet in average spread, and the dbh is somewhere around eight feet.
