Yeah, perhaps the globe behind the padlock would be good...neonsonicboy (talk) 16:27, 14 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Headline text[edit]

i want it to have a picture od the globe put in the middle of the lock to show it is blocked by wiki I think that the person above has a great idea with the whole globe in the middle of the padlock. go globe.

Agreed. A globe behind the lock would be nice, showing it is blocked by Wiki Slavik262 22:55, 11 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Not quite sure what you mean? A globe? Alex43223 Talk | Contribs | E-mail | C 22:20, 9 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This picture is being abused. All because there is one vandalism doesn't mean that there is need to lock it.

This image is protected, so using the Commons version would open it to manipulation on the local wiki. This edit request should not be fulfilled. If there is a need to synchronize the Commons and English Wikipedia versions, that should indeed be done, but they seem to me to be the same at the moment. I am going to remove the editprotected tag for now. If consensus in favor of the change develops, feel free to add another one. CMummert · talk 12:22, 28 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A padlock. So why do we need to look at it right now?[edit]

It's a padlock. It's always a padlock. Urgh...... gooIan.bjorn (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 05:44, 3 October 2010 (UTC).[reply]

Semi-protected[edit]

The file has a topicon that says that it is silverlocked, and another that says that it is redlocked. I can't be both at the same time, so I ask that an administrator remove the silverlock topicon. pluma Ø 20:05, 10 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  1. Why is this image not named File:Padlock-gold.svg to be uniform with the naming convention of the rest of the padlocks?
  2. Why is this image apparently part of WP:WikiProject Video Games?
  1. Because File:Padlock-gold.svg is an even more golden padlock.
  2. I suggest asking at WT:WikiProject Video games, but for now I've removed that template. Huon (talk) 01:20, 27 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

R.I.P. the classic protection padlocks (2006-2018)[edit]

Sacrificed in the name of "accessibility". The only thing differentiating the different types of cleanup tag is the color bar; that doesn't mean we should ditch Template:Ambox, however. I'm pretty sure that only 0.01% (or some other percentage so small it doesn't really matter( of WP readers are actually colourblind, and this is accessibility for accessibility's sake.. How is "accessibility for accessibility's sake" a bad thing? Are you complaining that this was not done with some sort of ulterior motive? That's a new one. Ben · Salvidrim!  05:06, 13 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
