Wrong Color for Guyana[edit]

Guyana's per capita GDP in PPP was estimated at US$ 7,939 by the IMF. It should be colored in a lighter blue shade on the map then.189.19.80.253 (talk) 17:56, 20 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Color shading[edit]

I can't tell the difference between the "no data" and "under 2k $" shades. I do have a form of colorblindness and that could be part of it, in any case it would be appreciated if someone could enhance the contrast between the two shades. Coinmanj (talk) 23:23, 29 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed, the choice of colour scale could be slightly better somehow, perhaps using more of the spectrum, or fewer shades that are super close together (e.g. dark blue and indigo, or light blue and slightly-less-light-blue are a bit confusiing). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 130.246.132.178 (talk) 15:59, 30 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

- hi there i tried while i updated the maps to change the colors, but its very hard to choose colors making it fitting for both colored beholders and black white beholders. But in my opinions its very pointless because the countries with no data are vatican city and some islands in the pacific and Caribbean, all land based countries even north korea and all the bright colored african countries your see are colored under 2k.--Crossswords (talk) 03:05, 12 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Why is Japan shaded Blue?[edit]

All three GDP per Capita shows Japan to be above 35K. It should be colored pink. Tarikur (talk) 10:55, 28 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I was going to point out the same significant glaring inaccuracy. Japan is actually towards the top of the $35K-$50K band. Elroch (talk) 13:28, 27 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

New Data[edit]

Now data for 2012 is available, so the map could be updated... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.173.110.43 (talk) 23:42, 6 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Wrong map/representation[edit]

I am wondering why several Islamic countries are not black coloured, even though their GDP per capita (PPP) are clearly above 50k!?

[1]

For example:

Kuwait (85,660), United Arab Emirates (58,042), Saudi Arabia (51,679)!

Bermuda (53,023) is also missing.

And why is Oman (46,430) only in the category of 20-35K?

I am not an explicit friend of the Islamic culture, BUT facts are facts, and this omission eventually has a taste of racist motivation, which I fundamentally detest.

Gibraltar is in the wrong location[edit]

Hi there. For some reason Gibraltar is displayed as being somewhere between Almeria & Murcia, when in fact it should be on the northern shores of the Strait of Gibraltar. Could someone fix this please? Thanks, --Gibmetal 77talk 2 me 20:30, 27 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
