Contested deletion[edit]
This file should not be speedy deleted as an obviously non-free file but which is not claimed by the uploader to be fair use, because I am the author of this work, and have published it under a free licence. --pcuser42 (talk) 20:06, 23 June 2014 (UTC)
- A quick note: the claimed source is not the original source, nzrailphotos.co.nz is (note this image was posted to Wikipedia on 18 April 2014, while the blog post was posted on 30 April 2014). The first site was using the image without attribution, although this has now been fixed.
- All images I upload to Wikipedia have been 100% my own work, and are all released under a free licence. This is contrary to what nzrailphotos.co.nz (run by me) says, and this fact is explicitly stated on my user page. It would therefore be inappropriate to delete this image as there is no copyright infringement here. pcuser42 (talk) 15:40, 24 June 2014 (UTC)
- The image was posted here in October 2013, here in April 2014 and on Wikipedia in May 2014. Both of the external sources predate Wikipedia. As there is no evidence that any of the websites belongs to you, this needs to be verified through OTRS. See the notice on your talk page. --Stefan2 (talk) 18:23, 24 June 2014 (UTC)
- My name is clearly listed at the footer of the site, the same name listed on my userpage. My association with the site has been listed on my user page since I signed up! I can provide an original of both photos if requested. pcuser42 (talk) 18:40, 24 June 2014 (UTC)
- Anyone can list any names or site associations on a user page. I could state on my user page that the site is owned by me instead. It doesn't prove anything at all. See WP:CONSENT for instructions on how to solve this. --Stefan2 (talk) 19:33, 24 Jyune 2014 (UTC)
- The following link should reference pcuser42's association with http://nzrailphotos.co.nz, I personally know pcuser42 and he DOES admin http://nzrailphotos.co.nz and I HAVE seen his government issued drivers license. - I know Alex and have done for a number of years. He indeed does own the website nzrailphotos.co.nz and goes under the username of pcuser42 and again has done so for a number of years in a number of different environments.
