Summary

Description
English: A derivative work of File:Star Sizes Comparison update 2021.jpg, created by User:SkyFlubbler under the CC BY-SA 4.0 International License. Size comparison of numerous supergiant and hypergiant stars, compared to the orbits of Saturn (orange circle) and Neptune (blue circle). First is Cygnus OB2-12, a blue hypergiant at 250 solar radii, then yellow hypergiant V382 Carinae at nearly 500 solar radii, Betelgeuse, a red supergiant star at 640 solar radii that may have been a yellow supergiant in antiquity, red supergiant VV Cephei A at 1,050 solar radii, then finally red hypergiant VY Canis Majoris, a candidate for the largest known star in the Milky Way galaxy at 1,420 solar radii.
