Čeština: Šimon Drgáč (* 8. listopadu 1892 Mutěnice – 28. června 1980 Praha) byl československý generál, českoslovenký legionář na italské frontě, prvorepublikový přednosta druhého oddělení Hlavního štábu a od Února 1948 až do roku 1951 náčelník Hlavního štábu československé branné moci. V roce 1951 byl z československé armády propuštěn a v roce 1952 zatčen a odsouzen v politickém procesu k odnětí svobody na 24 let. Do roku 1958 byl nezákonně vězněn. Rehabilitován byl v roce 1963. Fotografie neznámého autora před rokem 1952, kdy ještě působil v československé armádě a nosil uniformu.
English: Šimon Drgáč (* 8 November 1892 Mutěnice - 28 June 1980 Prague) was a Czechoslovak general, Czechoslovak Legionnaire on the Italian front, First Republic head of the Second Department of the Main Staff and from February 1948 until 1951 Chief of the Main Staff of the Czechoslovak Armed Forces. He was dismissed from the Czechoslovak army in 1951 and arrested in 1952 and sentenced to 24 years imprisonment in a political trial. He was illegally imprisoned until 1958. He was rehabilitated in 1963. Photograph by unknown author before 1952, when he was still in the Czechoslovak army and wearing its uniform. |
