The award is a metal sculpture of two figures embracing, mounted onto a wooden block with a gold-coloured engraved plaque on the front bearing the inscription "The Coventry International Prize for Peace and Reconciliation Awarded to Dr Madeleine Sharp 14th November 2004 Father Forgive".
