Summary

Description

American bull bison at the Great North (Hancock) Museum, Newcastle, England. It was the last of the pure stock of American bison at Haggerston Castle, Northumberland, and it died in 1905. It was taxidermy-mounted by Harry Ferris Brazenor (1863-1948) in 1908 for Newcastle Museum.

Note: This exhibit is on permanent display at a public museum in the United Kingdome. Thus it comes under Panoramafreiheit. See Freedom of panorama, and section 62 of Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988.
