English: Lothian Bridge from Ford The bridge of five arches, designed by Thomas Telford, carries the original Great North Road (now the A68) over the Tyne Water just outside the village of Pathhead. A smaller version of the Dean Bridge over the Water of Leith in Edinburgh, it was completed in the same year, 1831.
