Summary

Description
English: Representation of a London County Council commemorative plaque to Sir John Tenniel at No.10 Portsdown Road, Maida Vale, erected 12th March 1930. Portsdown Road was renamed Randolph Avenue in 1939. The house was demolished in 1959 and the plaque presumed lost. The plaque is described as being light green. There is no surviving green glazed ware plaque, indeed this appears to have been the only example, so the colour is an not-remotely-educated guess, based on the green used by Doulton for the border of the Della Robbia series of plaques of c1925.
