Summary

  • Beschreibung: Worpsweder Käseglocke, erbaut 1926, befindet sich in Worpswede (Niedersachsen) auf dem Weyerberg und wurde nach den Plänen vom Architekten Bruno Taut vom Schriftsteller Edwin Koenemann erbaut. Die Käseglocke besteht ganz aus Holz, steht heute unter Denkmalschutz und wurde in den letzten Jahren umfassend renoviert. Das Gebäude, das wegen seiner ungewöhnlichen Iglu-Form Aufsehen erregte, erhielt von den Worpswedern den Namen „Käseglocke”.
