English: Ford parts train from Spain arrives at dagenham Dock station , near to Dagenham, Barking And Dagenham, Great Britain.
A view much changed as seen from the top end of the platform at Dagenham Dock station looking east towards Barking. Before the continental railway and road improvements were made. The Ford parts blue train arrives from Spain having travelled via the Channel tunnel. This is how the approach to Dagenham Dock station looked some 15 years ago. The crane behind the train were formerly on the Hays site in Dagenham (Crane since sold!). At one point theses sidings were used for container trains carrying imported tea. Containers were taken from the train and unloaded on the site prior to going for blending elsewhere. |
