English: Norwegian bayliff Jens Holmboe (1752-1804)
Svenska: Detta porträtt skall vara målat i Köpenhamn på parets bröllopsresa. De gifte sig 1783, men det berättas att de reste till Köpenhamn efter första dotterns födelse (hon föddes augusti 1784) så kanske är porträttet målat först 1784-85. Det är målat av Christian August Lorentzen och finns tillsammans med matchande porträtt av Holmboes hustru, Anne Margrethe, född Irgens, numera på Sör-troms museum.
