Komombo temple – dedicated to Sobek and Horus. Aswan, Egypt

Komombo temple is very unusual. It was dedicated to two triads of deities, each with their own associated chambers and sanctuaries. On the eastern side of the temple, the crocodile god Sobek (Suchos/Seth), is honored with his wife who is here named as Hathor and their son Khonsu. On the west side, Haroeris or 'Horus the Elder' (Harwer) is accompanied by his wife Hathor-ta-sent-nefert and their son Panebtawy (Lord of the Two Lands). It is likely that there were also two separate priesthoods who tended the deities.

SCAN UPDATE

My bone scan went well yesterday and the staff were very professional and courteous. It was great that they had a different camera that enabled the scan to be done in 25 minutes. They then did more scans of my head and shoulder areas, approx. another 10 minutes. The hardest part is not moving at all during this time and when I got up I was a little dizzy but very little. The test results will take up to 2 weeks to get, in the meantime I will sit and wait.

JUST GOT A CALL AT 6 PM FROM MY DOCTOR'S OFFICE AND HE WANTS TO SEE ME AT 7:45 AM TOMORROW MORNING, NOW I AM REALLY NERVOUS. THE HOSPITAL SAID IT WOULD TAKE ABOUT TWO WEEKS FOR THE RESULTS.
