Summary

Description
English: The steamship Fah-Kee built in 1862 in New York. Originally intended for Chinese service, Fah-Kee instead went into service along the United States East Coast, and in 1863 was requisitioned by the U.S. Navy for service as an armed collier and freighter with the name USS Fahkee. After the war, she returned to merchant service and in 1872 was renamed Pictou.
