English: Down freight passing Bank Top Station, Darlington. View southward, towards York etc.; ex-North Eastern East Coast Main Line. At Darlington Bank Top, the Through lines, mainly for the intensive freight traffic, were located on the east side of the Station, which actually was on a loop to the west; the Marshalling Yard and Goods Depot was on the left (east) in this view. The locomotive is BR Standard 9F 2-10-0 No. 92193. |
