Description
English: "This is a copy after a c.1510 original at Elton Hall in Peterborough. The two men are Saint Joseph and (most likely) Zechariah, father of John the Baptist, though opinions differ as to which man is which. However, a figure practically identical to the man at right appears clearly as Saint Joseph in two other known Holy Family groups by da Sesto."
