Description
Fragmentary stele with a proxeny decree of the Boeotian Koinon honoring the Lakonian Timeas, son of Cheirikrates. Above the text is a relief of a warship, and above that a second relief depicting Athena Alea and the Dioskouroi. In the pediment crowning the stele is a small relief of the infant Herakles strangling the serpents.
