English: Assumption Church is the fourth building to serve the oldest continuous Roman Catholic parish in Ontario, founded in 1728 as The Mission of Our Lady of the Assumption among the Hurons of Detroit. The church is situated on land donated by the Hurons in 1782. Construction of the current church took place from 1842 to 1845. The tower and apse were added in 1874 and the sacristy and Rosary Chapel in 1907.
Assumption Church is located at the corner of Huron Church Road and University Ave. West, Windsor, ON, on 2.4 hectares.
