Angelo Moriondo (Torino, 6 giugno 1851 - Marentino, 31 maggio 1914), che brevettò per primo la macchina per il caffé espresso il 16 maggio 1884, intitolando la sua invenzione (brevetto n. 256 vol. 33) "Nuovi apparecchi a vapore per la confezione economica ed istantanea del caffè in bevanda.
