Summary

Description
English: Ancient Korean (Silla) armour, National Museum of Korea. Silla, which was founded in 57 BC and lasted until 935 AD, is best remembered for its art, Buddhist spirituality, and the first-ever unification of Korea in 668. It was also the only Korean state to ever have female rulers (there were two queens in its history), and one of the few to actively trade with states beyond China and Japan.
