Summary

Description

Azure / Marlin Blue. In 1928, Chrysler acquired Fargo Trucks and Dodge Brothers and also established Plymouth and DeSoto brands. Plymouth was Chryslers lowest priced car, Dodge was next, then Desoto and Chrysler was top of the line. The 1960-61 Dodge carried on the forward look styling of the 57-59 Dodge with tail fins at the rear, with jet pod tail lights. Model names were changed tho and a shorter wheelbase Dodge Dart introduced. The Matador was the base model full size Dodge (available in 2 and 4 door Hardtop, 4 door Sedan and Wagon) The Polara, was the upmarket model, more chrome and better trim in the interior (available in 2 door Convertible, 2 and 4 door Hardtop, 4 door Sedan and Wagon). The slightly shorter wheelbase Dodge Dart was available in three models; The base Dart Seneca (2 and 4 door Sedan and Wagon) Mid Dart Pioneer (2 door Hardtop, 2 and 4 door Sedan and Wagon) And top of the range Dart Phoenix (2 door Convertible, 2 and 4 door Hardtop and 4 door Sedan)
