中文：這批相片為台灣新生報記者拍攝，主題為1978年雙十國慶閱兵大典。典禮於總統府前廣場舉行，總統蔣經國親自校閱，由蔣仲苓中將擔任總指揮官，三軍官校、政戰學校女學生、金馬女子自衛隊、海軍艦隊士兵營、憲兵部隊、海軍兩棲偵搜營蛙人部隊等依序行經閱兵臺。此外，戰車、裝甲車、砲車以及自製的雄風飛彈、工蜂火箭等武器裝備也於典禮中展示。
其中穿著野戰迷彩服的女子自衛隊與當時金馬地區實施的民防隊制度有關。民防隊徵召標準、工作內容會隨著時局變化，1970年代，滿18歲女性須參加民防隊，直至結婚或年滿45歲。隊員須接受嚴格的軍事訓練，部分人則被訓練參加閱兵典禮。 國慶日起源於1911年辛亥革命武昌起義，中華民國建立。但當時臺灣仍處於日本統治之下。1945年中華民國接收臺灣。1949年政府遷往臺灣，國慶日成為臺灣的重要節日。 1951年後中央政府首次在臺灣舉行國慶閱兵，總統蔣中正執政早年幾乎年年閱兵，宣誓政府擁有反攻大陸的能力。1965年後由於蔣中正身體狀況不佳，取消閱兵典禮。 此後僅建國逢十周年或新總統上任才舉行閱兵凝聚民心，此相片就是蔣經國任總統後首次閱兵。1991年則為迄今最後一次國慶閱兵，往後由於臺灣民主化發展，僅舉行國防展演。 |
