This is an unweildy title, Google top 10 hits, A-K or similar would be better.

- And White House could be about an ordinary house painted white, until you click on it and find out. The title of an article should be descriptive, yes, but needn't be a full description of the page. Mintguy
This article (and the continuation) list 600 articles, so why is it called Top 10? If there are no objections, I will move it. CGS 17:45 24 Jul 2003 (UTC).
- There is an objection: the articles are ones who turn up in the first page of results at Google, hence the "top 10." Koyaanis Qatsi

With this short explanation at the beginning, is it still not clear what it is about? Before moving the page, try to reword Wikipedia:Top 10 Google hits and the subpages, I think that would already solve the problem. Fantasy 06:44 25 Jul 2003 (UTC)

Why is Henry II so popular and Henry VIII not seem to feature? I'd imagine that more people would want to know about Henry VII say, than Henry II. -Adrian.
- Both Henry VII and Henry the VIII are top ten google hits (Henry VII is number one), it's just that nobody had listed them here. Very possibly other Henrys not listed are in the top 10 also. Anyway, I've added VII and VIII to the list. --Camembert
What really peeves me off is that I'm working hard here on Wikipedia and our mirror sites usually appear much higher than us on google rankings, and hence get higher traffic and consciousness in people's minds, while earning $$$ from google's ads. Is there anything that we can do to boost Wikipedia's rankings on Google? Enochlau 10:35, 26 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- I'm not sure, but I think it helps the ranking if other websites link to Wikipedia. So anyone you can talk into linking here would help. ike9898 22:38, Dec 20, 2004 (UTC)
