A hummingbird hawk-moth
Reason
The recently promoted FP File:Hummingbird hawk moth (Macroglossum stellatarum) in flight.jpg replaced it in the main article Hummingbird hawk-moth, and has much better resolution and quality.
Articles this image appears in

  • @Charlesjsharp: To check, is there anything significant that this offers - colour variations, male vs. female or anything else - that our new FP does not? If it shows something different, it might be worth keeping it as FP, and I presume you know the species better than I do. • Thanks. Delist About the only use this has, then, is replacing the accidental second appearance of your FP in a gallery (until I removed the duplicate, it was the lead image, then also appeared in a gallery further down the page). even if we did that, though, that's certainly not enough for an FP. • Delist, the moth's wings were blurred, and also the color of the flowers. Evan0512 (talk) 18:44, 9 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
