I used to be a daily obsessive here in an earlier phase of my life, but serving on non-profit committees, then work, then study took me away. I will be here more than I was, but primarily sticking with maintenance tasks, fixing my own old lists, and editing here and there on politics, local government and electoral geography when time permits. spooky[edit]

seeing a long inactive ed return, trust you find it ok... JarrahTree 10:55, 7 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Still pretty inactive (full time study is very demanding!) but intend to be doing a bit more than I was. Thanks :) Orderinchaos 11:23, 7 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
title wrong - imho that is east guildford railway station - https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Midland_line_at_Guildford_W_from_Market_St.jpg - any thoughts? JarrahTree 12:17, 12 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
my bad - it has all the traits of e guildford - but the telltale roof of the training centre at rhs mid dismisses that - the crappy fences (which give sense of e guildford before the bike path put in on left have been since replaced - (i think) JarrahTree 12:48, 12 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
you still exist? I thought it might have been a rumour  :) JarrahTree 03:57, 10 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah uni and internship has its own way of sapping time... Good to hear from you again btw :) Orderinchaos 03:15, 12 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Good to know you are keeping busy, and to see a familiar name pop up. Regards, ~ cygnis insignis 03:45, 12 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks and good to hear from you as well! Orderinchaos 04:17, 12 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

AWB access[edit]

Hi, I saw you make this edit - but if you can edit that page, you must be an admin; and according to the last paragraph of Wikipedia:AutoWikiBrowser/CheckPage#Requesting access, admins have AWB as a standard part of the toolkit. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 14:01, 7 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Indeed, MusikBot II (talk · contribs) removed you on its very next run. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 06:53, 2 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah sorry about that. It turns out that I misdiagnosed my problem as not having access to AWB when it was a non compliant password (< 10 characters) under new password rules. For some reason Wikipedia was still accepting it for a time, but AWB was throwing its hands up in the air. Orderinchaos 03:56, 10 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Apologies for the template, but AN and bureaucracy and whatnot. Anyway, wanted to let you know I moved it to AN. TonyBallioni (talk) 01:13, 9 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

A Duncraig photo you uploaded ...[edit]

... has been removed from the article for being mislabelled, according to the anon editor. Also pinging Calistemon, who added it to the page a couple of months back. Graham87 14:46, 25 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Thanks for bringing that to my attention - it turns out the person is correct! The photo appears to be of a house / unit block in the next street to Trinity (have been able to verify on Google Street View, there's a prominent "17" in the photo and it turns out it's 17 Burragah Way). Not sure how I got that wrong at the time. Might be a good excuse for me to go out there and take the actual front entrance... Orderinchaos 19:00, 25 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
    • Thanks for the fix. I'm no expert on the northern suburbs, would never have picked up on that, rarely venture north past the Swan. While you there, maybe you could find a good, representative image for the Duncraig article? Calistemon (talk) 12:43, 26 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
      • Will go up there after my exams are over and see what I can get. Despite its massive size it's mostly a higher-than-average-income residential suburb. Orderinchaos 20:26, 26 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Lowering the protection on Craig Kelly's page[edit]

Hi, could the protection on Craig Kelly (politician) please be lowered to Wikipedia:Pending changes? My understanding is that this would allow all people to make changes but would still maintain a level of protection against vandalism etc. for this controversial crossbencher. This kind of protection has been in use on other politicians' pages such as Joe Hockey's for years with success. Thank you for your consideration. --159.196.100.171 (talk) 07:41, 17 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
