charts[edit]

hi,

I'm a chart person. Hardcore. Love charts, can't get enough charts. I see you have contributed many charts.

But I need to be honest with you. Your charts display too many variables, over too long a time period, and so create unreadable noise that renders them useless, and consequently I doubt anyone finds them useful. I made the same mistakes in my early days of charting, decades ago. The objective is not to cram as much information as possible into one chart. You also appear to use a primitive charting tool that creates eyesore charts.

Frankly, they're awful. I encourage you to contribute charts with fewer variables, spanning a shorter and relevant timeframe, and use a pro tool to create them. Less is more. Here is a beautiful chart.

Cheers. soibangla (talk) 08:42, 13 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

please, once again, I implore you, please reconsider how you do charts. they are not useful, they really just are not. a response would be appreciated soibangla (talk) 05:41, 23 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I just removed another of your charts because the base index values did not converge at 100, which is vital in a chart of that nature.
I'll give it to you straight up: at this point I question your competence in creating and presenting data in a correct and meaningful way. I know you're trying to be helpful, and I'm willing to coach you toward improvement, but if you persist in contributing in this manner I may seek to have you prohibited from doing so, as you have done this across many articles over years. very sincerely, your charts are really that bad. please respond. soibangla (talk) 06:24, 23 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Im hoping for a fork from Wikipedia because the negativity and other negatives has become unbearable.Wikideas1 (talk) 07:33, 23 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Help with CAD page (Shapr3D)[edit]

Hi, I came across your profile from the edit history of the CAD page. I would like to create a page for Shapr3D, an increasingly popular Parasolid based CAD software. I have ties to the company, so I would love an objective outsider to help review the effort. I put together a draft which I feel retains a neutral tone, and references multiple industry sources on notability. Would you be open to taking a look and giving feedback? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Shapr3D Thanks. Sebcachia (talk) 08:03, 21 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Looks pretty good, maybe change the ==Company== section to ==History== Wikideas1 (talk) 14:11, 21 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe take out the venture-backed company sentence.Wikideas1 (talk) 00:10, 22 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Job-seekers ratio[edit]

Hello! Thank you for updating this chart and giving it a newer fresher look. The information is easier to process. By the way, may I suggest you set up your talk page for automated archiving? I can help you if you wish. Best wishes! Nerd271 (talk) 15:28, 23 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

How do I set up an archive on my talk page? - Wikideas1 (talk) 02:12, 24 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
This comes straight from my talk page. You can copy this code, paste it on the top of your talk page, and change it to your talk page. Change the other parameters as you see fit. Nerd271 (talk) 04:02, 24 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
