Good Burger 2 summary[edit]

Dexter Reed, once a former employee of Good Burger, is trying to become a successful entrepreneur. After his latest invention backfires and shuts down his business, Dexter calls Ed, now the owner of Good Burger, who agrees to let him stay at his home. Dexter decides to work at Good Burger again while he considers his next entrepreneurial venture. At the same time, Ed is hounded by Cecil McNevin, a legal representative for the conglomerate MegaCorp, to purchase Good Burger and turn it to a global fast-food franchise.

With no success appealing to Ed, Cecil turns to Dexter. He explains that his intent with Good Burger is not to remove Ed from his position, but to also give the employees a huge raise. Dexter discusses Cecil's offers with Ed, who later agrees to sign the contract offered by Cecil. At the Good Burger franchise launch party, Cecil reveals his intent to shut down Good Burger and fire the employees. With everyone turning against Dexter, he takes Ed to MegaCorp headquarters to demand them to reinstate the flagship restaurant and rehire the employees.

Dexter and Ed meet with the CEO of Megacorp Katt Bozwell, the sister of former Mondo Burger owner Kurt Bozwell who sought revenge on Good Burger after sending Kurt away to prison. She plans to rebrand the restaurant Mega Good Burger, with a robotic version of Ed serving each of the location. Dexter and Ed are later thrown out of the headquarters via a self-driving delivery car which Katt causes it to run out of control in order to get rid of them. Dexter forces the car to drive in a circle until it runs out of power.

Lamenting his failures, Dexter gets Ed to rally the Good Burger employees to stop the launch of Mega Good Burger. Their plan is to infiltrate MegaCorp headquarters so Mia, Dexter's niece and a computer expert, can shut down the machines before the launch. While Dexter, Ed and Mia infiltrate the building, the other employees create a distraction, but their ruse is uncovered. Dexter and Ed get separated from Mia and find the control room while Mia gets trapped in a conveyor belt. Dexter goes off to find Mia, leaving Ed to shut down the restaurants. Dexter saves Mia, but they are captured and taken to the control room where Ed is also taken.

As Katt gives the first demonstration on national television, the robotic Ed delivers her food order, before throwing it at her, followed by the other machines shooting food at everyone, which happens at every location around the world. Ed reveals he had reprogrammed the machines to go haywire instead of shutting off the machines to create more of an impact. In the aftermath, MegaCorp is shut down and Ed is given back ownership of the original Good Burger.
