Welcome![edit]

Welcome Protocol108! There are a few thinsg I'd like to start with:

  • Where do you live, and if you're Indian, what's you background qua ethnicity, religion, and education? (Feel free not to answer these questions, but it helps me to get a picture)
  • Keep laughing! See the humor, know when you're 'not right' (that sounds different from "wrong", doesn't it?), work together with other editors, listen carefull when they they've got feedback to offer (read: when they're critical, mean, and totally don't get it (keep laughing, remember?))
  • Use the best sources you can find. That is, when you can choose between a publication from a swami on the 10,000 year old origins of Hinduism, or a close-to-blasphemy publication from Michael Witzel, published by some academic publisher, take the last one. (That may hurt, but satya is not necessarily in stone-engraved "truths"; it may also be in the depths of uncertainty, where you still feel that you're being touched by another person, or God, or whatever. Trust that feeling (sorry, I'm a religious agnostic))
  • Take your time to learn, and to study.
  • Read some policies: WP:OR, WP:RS, WP:GOODFAITH,WP:TRUtH
  • Have fun! And enjoy the company of Bladesmulti, Hafspajen, CorinneSD, and many others.

Hi Protocol108. You've been reverted three times today at Satyananda Saraswati. One of them was on the statement that Satyananda was never convicted. you discussed this topic at two talkpages. Take care to provide a source now, or otherwise leave it; Wiki-rules cna be quite strict at India-related articles. Joshua Jonathan -Let's talk! 18:46, 9 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Farewell[edit]

End of the mentorship, of course. Cheers, Joshua Jonathan -Let's talk! 04:20, 19 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
