Wikipedia:WikiProject Missing encyclopedic articles/Dsp13 List/14

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This list is taken from Who's Who 1914, available at archive.org. As of September 2008, the list needs proofing against the printed text.

Where wikipedia already has a redlink to the person concerned, links are provided on this page.

One purpose of the page is to estimate the proportion of those listed who have a wikipedia page, & vice versa, & compare the sets qualitatively (by comparing the list with the intersection of subcats of Category:British people with Category:1913 deaths). I'd like to be able to return to the page after a year or so to track changes over the longer term. Who's Who is a standard biographical dictionary for this period; though over-inclusive (so that I don't envisage a wikipedia page for each individual in the list), it seems to me useful to have a handle on the kind of people who are over/under-represented in Who's Who compared to wikipedia. (For this sort of analysis from matches between wikipedia and ODNB, see my user page).

How many of the 512 individuals listed are in wikipedia?
