Wikipedia:Let's take off, nuke the article from orbit. It's the only way to be sure listed at RfD[edit]

An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Wikipedia:Let's take off, nuke the article from orbit. It's the only way to be sure. Since you had some involvement with the Wikipedia:Let's take off, nuke the article from orbit. It's the only way to be sure redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion (if you have not already done so). Unscented (talk) 20:42, 22 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Factual?[edit]

If Wikipedia wishes to be a factual encyclopedia, as you claim, then it must use facts from reliable sources. At this moment, the Interior Ministry and the Government of Iran is not a reliable source, with the widespread and very evident allegations of vote fraud and election rigging. Could it then not be argued that these are not reliable sources? Or is anything true simply because the government declares it?

I guess if Ahmadinejad issues a press release claiming he is President of Iran and the Moon, we should edit the article on the Moon too, right?

Abel (talk) 07:44, 16 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It is a simple fact that Ahmadinejad is president of Iran right now. The election very much hangs in the balance, but in the interim Ahmadinejad remains president. No one (and I mean no one) is questioning that, including his most fervent opponents. None of this is based on press releases from the regime in Iran, it's based on simple reality and the reporting of every reliable source out there. Continuing to add information that Moussavi is president will likely get you blocked for a short time. --Bigtimepeace | talk | contribs 07:55, 16 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The article List of programs and machines in the Matrix series has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Uncited, overly detailed in universe list article. As much as I like the Matrix, this doesn't cut it.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. − Jhenderson 777 01:33, 11 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
