The San Francisco Improv Alliance was an Improvisational theatre group started in 2005 by Shaun Landry, artistic director of Oui Be Negroes. The Alliance operated until at least 2008. The Alliance offered master class workshops, organized and produced improv performances, and provided community outreach in improvisational theatre.
In 2007, the Alliance provided improvisers for The San Francisco Family Festival and created a public service announcement for the Department of Public Health. The Alliance also booked improvisers for Major League Baseball and other events. The Improv Alliance produced the San Francisco Improv Festival from 2006 to 2008.
