Divisions[edit]

Clarifications[edit]

This template might need to be re-worked a bit. Mazda is not a former brand, but is a company that is partially owned by Ford (just currently less so than in the past). Also, I don't know if there is an article yet on this or not, but Ford had a separate heavy-truck division sold to Daimler-Benz (Freightliner) in 1998. Also, technically, Lincoln-Mercury is a combined brand (there are no separate Mercury or Lincoln dealers). SteveCof00 (talk) 05:37, 19 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Further Clarification Continental was a separate division from 1956-1957, so it was re-included in the template. Its only product was the Continental Mark II, which provides the link, since there is no article for the division itself. --SteveCof00 (talk) 07:09, 19 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Color[edit]

Per WP:Deviations, the coloring used for this template is set to be the default from MediaWiki:Common.css, rather than a specific "Ford" color. This is inline with guidelines set forth in WP:Accessibility, and helps ensure that the text is readable by a wide range of editors, including those with visual impairments. Please discuss here before making any changes. Thanks! Plastikspork ―Œ(talk) 00:42, 27 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
