Flags[edit]

Have restored flags to template pending discussion. Do people prefer that they remain or go? Man vyi 05:55, 16 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for not reverting altogether. There's been a big discussion over at template:Canada, where User:Astrotrain added the flags in a similar fashion and edit warred over them. They eventually went. See also Wikipedia:WikiProject Countries/Templates/Navboxes, where no other templates includes such flags (except {{United Kingdom}}, and these are very small. They were, ironically, removed by Astrotrain back in February.) Circeus 14:44, 16 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the helpful explanation (and for the tidier syntax). I don't mind the template with flags or without flags - I just think the question deserves airing before we settle. Nice working with you! Man vyi 16:42, 16 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I'd say without the flags, or at least with smaller ones. —Nightstallion (?) 12:33, 17 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I've removed the flagcruft, they were too big and unneccessary. -Trampikey(talk)(contribs) 17:17, 5 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
